Call for articles. Vol. 27 Num. 2 (2026)

It will be accepted proposals for: free articles, articles for the dossier and reviews of publications.

Title: Studies on the Relationship between Music and Politics: Practices, Discourses, Representations
    Guest Editor: Lic. Guillermo E. Dellmans
This dossier invites contributions that explore the multiple relationships between music and politics across a range of historical and contemporary contexts. Priority will be given to works that articulate diverse perspectives and that help expand and enrich the field of studies on this topic. Authors are encouraged to examine how musical practices intervene in, express, or reconfigure power dynamics, ideologies, collective affects, and social memories. Submissions based on case studies, theoretical approaches, comparative frameworks, or innovative methodologies are all welcome.
